I need to do 30 minutes of physical activity a day. I posted the “100” workout, which I do for 30+ minutes. I don’t care if I need to do it more than once. I’m up at 4:30am working out.
Walk to/from work- 1KM there, 1KM back - 2KM total.
Walk to the bank - 1.2KM
Walk to Rideau Mall from Scotiabank on Bank St. - 1.3KM
Walk home from the Mall - 1.9KM
Total distance walked - 6.4KM
Total calories burned - ~831 (http://walking.about.com/library/cal/uccalc1.htm)
* I use Google Maps to calculate distances. It’s better than nothing.
I’m not sure how to calculate how much I burned by doing the 100 workout for about 45 minutes. I can tell you I felt like I was about to drop dead. My legs still feel sore. It’s a good kind of sore though.
